Crafted by artisans from 'Toy Makers Town' Channapatna, the Spice Grinder is made from turned wood and lacquered in an array of vivid colours. The grinders, both unique and practical, add a distinctive touch to any dining table or kitchen.

The lacquer is derived from natural dyes, made from plant-based pigments such as turmeric, kumkum and indigo. Available in a rich and deep-toned palette and in two different sizes, the grinders can be used as either a peppermill or a salt grinder.

The grinder can be filled by simply pulling up the egg shape. It is equipped with the world's first ceramic grinding mechanism from the Danish brand CrushGrind®.
